The Cruise- Thursday- Palma Mallorca

Tour guides in Mallorca!!!

I love getting to connect with dear friends - especially in their home turf.  Didi and Anna Wills picked me up at the port and it was a day filled with laughter, food and harrowing curvy narrow cliff drives among spectacular scenery and near death at every corner.

We survived and caught up over tapas and coffee and Prosecco and could not have had a more perfect day.

Had a chance to revisit their villa to see the lovely updates and enjoy the pool deck before headed to the old district for dinner!

Made it back to the shop just as they were counting the last 4 heads and off we left.

We enjoyed a tapas filled lunch in Valdemossa at Es Taller- a former garage.  Amazing foods and wonderful service. But above all enjoyed watching families and ladies who lunch thoroughly enjoying themselves as much as we did!

Check out the whirly, twirly curvy roads

So many fond memories— half term breaks

Palma harbor wins most beautiful so far….

La Residence -enjoyed tea among the sites of rolling hills to the sea, charming stone homes set among the mountainside and the scent of jasmine in bloom.

After a quick drive we headed to the ancient monestary town of   Vallseempsa    We climbed up up up the narrow spiral stairs - for an extra €2- and was rewarded with the most spectacular view of the town and area.   The monks had found a most perfect place of peace of solitude.
