St James...wow
Well, the past two days I have sat in the Assembly hall in awe of the girls at St James....yesterday was the speech competition and I found myself in tears as I listened to scripture and Shakespeare so beautifully presented by poised and articulate lovelies...Rachel came home with the prize for scripture, and she did a perfect job - huge smile and 100% confidence and grace...well done sweetie. The choral speeches were fun and made me smile, and Mr W had the perfect balance of offering praise and encouragement as well as meaningful suggestions for next time.
This morning in assembly, Lauren played the literary dating game...she was one of three bachelors (Harry Potter and Romeo also) trying to win a date with Violet (I mean Jane Austin)...here is a bit of her as Edward Cullen (Twighlight)..she is on the far left...her opening is the best...she then asks if its bright in here or is it just her...well done Lolo, I was afraid you would crack a smile, but you were perfect!!
I know I have said it before, but the real gift for our family in this London experience is St James...I am in awe everyday of what my children are learning...the depth and breadth is impressive.
