Wow Its Been a While....

I am blogging for the simple reason that I haven't in a long while....I love keeping this running journal, so I need to keep it up or it will cease to be relevant.

Dean came to stay with us while he had some work meetings...the week was filled with Brewery Tours, dinners out with his lovley co-worker..Attached are some photos:
We have also been lucky to see Jim O'Brien and Skip and Karen Finley stayed with us as well.

Vacation trips

In April we spent a sunny, restful week in Ocean Reef with Lauren's friend Violet, Papa and Jenn...Lauren, Violet and Meg went scuba diving off the reef and took some great underwater fishy shots.

Rachel got her golf cart liscence and that afternoon feel off the back of the cart and injured her thumb.

Here is a happy picture on the hammock, before they spun Megan off it into the sand :>(

Easter was chilly in CT, followed by a fun week which warmed up and was topped off with a winter cocktail party for neighbors and family (regrettably, not all family)..I love Madison!!

Cindy and I took a drive to visit Nana and Papa and take Nana out to lunch...lots of fun, but a long day door to door with Mimi, Papa and Em holding down the fort with all the kids!! I believe Nana really enjoyed a day out. Went stopped to visit Fran at work for a bit as well.

While in CT we spent a day in Westport so the girls could attend their old classes at GFA and dinner at Sakura with Brenda and Lauren's friends...fun!

Back in London - School Events

Lolo Play - Lauren played Iris, the love goddess in her class drama play...The Tempest..she was a lovely goddess, not a character stretch.

Lolo Camping - As part of the Duke of Edinburgh Service Award Lauren is working towards...(kind of like Girl Scouts with camping and community service projects), Lauren had a camping weekend...She liked most of the experience, except for cooking outdoors. :)

Rachel and Megan are good...Bob has started teaching a class at Cambridge and they have gone to his class to help pass out papers and be his assistants. Cute.

We took a trip to Stonehenge...amazing to see this ancient wonder in the middle of a grassy field an hour and a half outside London.

If it were in the US, it would be surrounded by a Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Wax Museum (like Niagara Falls).

So we are all settled back into the school routine...Bob and I are having dinner with the Wrights tonight who are visiting London. Looking forward to seeing them and catching up.

The Kelley family is coming in 2 weeks - should be so fun to have them here and show them around London!!

Keep in touch!!

Love from London!
