Not too much to report

Its been a while since I blogged, so I thought I would post some misc things that have happened since we moved in.

All is well in London, house sorted out and lived in again...Girls are back in their groove at school and seem happy and thriving.  Dog is good.  

Bob is happy to have Jaime back as his PA.  She started this week.

The girls and I enjoyed a week of sun in Florida in mid Feb with my folks and Cindy's family. Great fun and nice sun tans.000

Deb and Kate are in Ocean Reef and I am insanely jealous.  Looking forward to going in early April before returning to the cold for Easter.

Catching up with friends, started a book group, taking art and architecture lectures.  Need a long term goal that has nothing to do with housework.

Got a car this week, so I think a road trip this weekend may be called for.  Cotswolds?  Brighton Pavilion? Legoland?

Lauren is in the play The Tempest next weekend, looking forward to seeing her dramatic prowess.

Many dogs jumped on me at the park this morning and got me very muddy.  Not fun.  I had bacon for my Ramsay and they smelled them.

Watched my friend Didi's dog last weekend and she ran away....(dog not Didi)...bad....caught her though and she spent the rest of her visit in the playroom. :(

So as I said, nothing much going on here.

Update - 2010 and 2011

Easter 2011 in Connecticut   We did a whirlwind 4 day trip back to 06443 and had a nice visit with the family and enjoyed egg hunts, golden eggs on a foggy beach, and family time in Madison...it was still cold and grey - but only 9 weeks until Summer 2011! Book Signing with James Frey Lauren and I went to a Grazia book club signing with James Frey, author of Million Little Pieces, and his latest book, The Final Testament of the Holy Bible...he described his being dropped by his US publisher after the Oprah public flogging, but enjoys being in Europe and has released his latest book overseas only..Lauren got her book signed and we had one signed for Tommy who was a MLP fan. Disney Paris - April 2011 with Oki and Meg While Rachel was on her ski trip to Montgenievre in France, and Lauren was studying for her GCSE exams, I took Meg and her friend to Disney Paris for 4 days...it was pure innocent bliss - the girls were so happy and appreciative it was a real enjoyabl...

The Cruise- Monday- St Tropez

 Welcome to sunny splendid StTropez by the sea-   Made famous by Bridget Bardo in her 1960 film   She and many other famous people call St Tropez home and I can see why  - charming old alleys and shops mixed among cafe and the water is everywhere   So amazing  these photos do not do it justice    Met a sweet young couple at this cafe from Greenwich  (voted for Bob)  on their 2nd wedding anniversary   Youngest people we have spoken to in a while haha! Came off the ship on to tinders today   A but bumpy but a lovely little trip  Then a rough and late night at sea.
