Omg. One port more beautiful than the next. We opted to skip the tour and enjoy a day at the beach on the Mediterranean Sea. Took a taxi to Son Bou beach. So beautiful  Beautiful steep rock walls      Stunning scenery   Loved this island! The views tonight and almost full moon were beguiling and we spent much of the late afternoon and early evening enjoying them, the hot tub, a late dinner and two very intense games of Scrabble- this time I won both games handily.

(Turnberry Resort) One of my favorite things about living in London is the ability to take a weekend trip to a new place..and there are so many wonderful, new places for us to explore...but I live with a family of home bodies who are happy to just veg on the weekend...so I push and pull and they are all happy, once we get there. The Cruise- Thursday- Corsica

After a rough night at sea we slept thru our 8 am tour and woke almost at noon.  Hopped off the ship and grabbed a quick lunch in the port area at a lovely French restaurant (mole et frites and lasagna) before  boarding next to a massive Virgin cruise ship for a 2:30 departure.   Sorry Napoleon-  we missed seeing your birthplace  We continued the scrabble tournament (5-4. Amy) and then to reading on the back of the ship under a blanket as we steamed thru the beautiful Med passing lovely islands and enjoying a little tea and cake.  Room service and movie Otto and in bed by 9:30!    Quiet day!  Sadly no photos.  Xo
