September 2nd - Back across the Pond - moving - AGAIN!

While we were enjoying our summer vacation in Madison, we learned that our landlord is moving back from Switzerland and we need to move out. Bob found us a new house in our same neighborhood and has signed us up. The movers have begun moving us out of 2 PP and into our new home...will the girls like it? Will I?

We are back in London at the same hotel where our first adventure began last December. Our drive to the airport and flight was perfectly uneventful and we were greeted by Bob's driver and our Ladybird MiniCooper! Nothing like right back into the fire, after 6 weeks and on 4 hours of sleep I was driving on the left again...We headed to the Lanesborough hotel, checked in and immediately went to sleep until 12:30 when Bob woke us all to get ready to go see the new house. We are all now awake, have ordered breakfast and I thought I would send you all a quick note to say we have arrived safe and sound - just not at all adjusted to the time change. The girls are all in good moods and Bob is out running. The hotel looks out over the Marble Arch and Hyde Park - a lovely spot in the center of the city. Great spot to rejoin our adventure already in progress. 

Thank you all for a whirlwind, fun summer!! Our six weeks in Madison were exactly what we had hoped they would be - lots of family, friends, and trips to Walmart. We loved seeing our doggies and hanging at the beach. The firepit made for some memorable (and some we will wish to forget) evenings. It was great being with all of you and catching up. I am off to shower and gulp down some coffee with milk (yuck I miss half and half already and it's been less than 6 hours), then we go over and see what our new house looks like and how much the movers have done while Bob was away.
