Monday Feb 12th - Nothing to say
Well, eventually the boring Mummy stuff would arrive..this weekend it arrived...Not much to write about in a blog that anyone would be interested in..a few highlights from the weekend:
Saw a real fox run through our little back yard on Saturday morning..very cool
Bob's foot is all blue from tips of the toes down the side and all over..very swollen but no pain. He is hobbling along very well.
On Friday after school Lauren and 3 other friends took a bus to a tube to get to a friends house then went out for pizza..with no adult..I was a wreck and called her every 15 minutes to make sure they were fine..of course they were...anyway, she had a fun sleepover and I picked her up the next day at noon in the Lady Bug and she was all smiles - and I only hit one curb!
I went to the Portobello Market again on Saturday morning...love that place...a must stop when visiting.
I spoke to Josh and Em on Skype and got to see their house..hope the laundry room came out well.
Saturday Night we went into the East End to see Rocky Balboa..it was actually very good, very Rocky, Sly looks good at 50!! Nothing better than a Rocky movie to make you feel good.
We had dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant, Il Portico, very friendly family owned with wonderful service and delicious food. Sat next to a fellow from Texas who lived in the neighborhood with his family 3 years ago and would eat there often as well. Rachel told him he looked like Rocky...the younger one..
Sunday was church, lunch and Rachel had a friend over to play.
Cindy's sitter Lindsey is going to move into Soundview Ave and spring the dogs from boarding school..I am so happy, I have been worried about them freezing in the kennel on the cold cement floor..brr..she has a small dog and as you know works 5 minutes away so they will get lots of time and attention. That should come together this week I hope. Thanks for helping put this together Cindy.
Off to take the girls to school...Rachel has Math Week all week and she is looking forward to it - imagine that... Megan is off from school all week for her break...I need to find some fun things for us to do this week.
The blog is slowing down..that is life as a mom I guess.
Love you all...
Amy
