February 4th - Superbowl Sunday to you
Hi all... Happy Superbowl Sunday!
We are sad about missing the SuperBowl activities...enjoy the commercials and half time show..I would like a report please on your favorites and the funniest. Barely a mention in the UK papers, a small box on page 7 of the sports section..yikes..I am sure there is an entire pullout section in the New Haven Register.
Lauren is on the search for the best "Smelly Lotion". Today we had a blast at a department store called Selfridges..huge like Harrods, but a little more hip and not so serious..they have an amazing food court/grocery area and we found an American food aisle..so we stocked up on Oreos, Skippy peanut butter, Mac and cheese, Nutella and Lucky Charms (the Kraft Mac and Cheese was 4pounds a box - almost $7.50 a box!!
We saw Dr Nick Perricone's display - this one was hopping!! The fellow Christian behind the counter knew his stuff and was super with the customers..he was selling stuff like crazy..nice work Christian!!
Brenda, on Sundays, artists sell their art work in Hyde Park..some good some not, but so fun to see. You need to check that out when you visit!
We had a lounge-y weekend, catching up on paperwork, bills, the girls played. We are almost through the Rocky series..we have seen Rocky, Rocky 2, Rocky 3 and Rocky 4 and tonight is Rocky 5 - no idea what that one is about..we should have quit with 3.
Weather has been very nice..no rain for about a week and the temps in the 40's or so. No complaints about that!

We met Lauren's new ortho for a consult yesterday and she will get braces on next month. Nice guy and office wasn't too far away.
So far no Scarlett Fever but Rachel had a soar throat that seems better this afternoon. I can't figure out how to regulate the heat here so the bedrooms are pretty warm. I think she is just irritated from the heaters.
