Sunday Morning..Jan 7th

Good morning..I hear many of you have been enjoying very warm weather...this sun worshipper is very envious...rained most of the day yesterday but we made do..

The girls took a riding lesson at Hyde Park...in the rain...they really enjoyed it even thought they were soaked...they ride all over the park, kind of like a trail ride.

Then back to the hotel to soak in a warm tub - Lauren overflowed the tub with bubbles when she added bubble bath then turned on the jets..

We enjoyed a nice afternoon in the hotel reading and playing. Around 3:00 the rain stopped and we headed back to Harrods for an early dinner and some fun window shopping..we played with new computers, read books, etc.

Bob's home from Florida and the girls and I are happy to see him.

We are slowly learning our way around our home and hotel..such a lovely city, and the people are terrific.

Easter 2011 in Connecticut   We did a whirlwind 4 day trip back to 06443 and had a nice visit with the family and enjoyed egg hunts, golden eggs on a foggy beach, and family time in Madison...it was still cold and grey - but only 9 weeks until Summer 2011! Book Signing with James Frey Lauren and I went to a Grazia book club signing with James Frey, author of Million Little Pieces, and his latest book, The Final Testament of the Holy Bible...he described his being dropped by his US publisher after the Oprah public flogging, but enjoys being in Europe and has released his latest book overseas only..Lauren got her book signed and we had one signed for Tommy who was a MLP fan. Disney Paris - April 2011 with Oki and Meg While Rachel was on her ski trip to Montgenievre in France, and Lauren was studying for her GCSE exams, I took Meg and her friend to Disney Paris for 4 days...it was pure innocent bliss - the girls were so happy and appreciative it was a real enjoyabl...

The Cruise- Monday- St Tropez

 Welcome to sunny splendid StTropez by the sea-   Made famous by Bridget Bardo in her 1960 film   She and many other famous people call St Tropez home and I can see why  - charming old alleys and shops mixed among cafe and the water is everywhere   So amazing  these photos do not do it justice    Met a sweet young couple at this cafe from Greenwich  (voted for Bob)  on their 2nd wedding anniversary   Youngest people we have spoken to in a while haha! Came off the ship on to tinders today   A but bumpy but a lovely little trip  Then a rough and late night at sea.
